Pastor Ronnie L. Holly Sr.

 

Pastor Holly was born and raised in Waynesboro, VA to the late Cleo M Holly and Fannie (Washington) Holly. His mother gave him to God at an early age.  He has been singing in the church since he was 8 or 9 years old.  As a teenager he sang with two quartets- The Youngeraires and The Virginia Soul Searchers. In 1984 God called him into the ministry. He joined Massie Memorial Church of God in Christ in 1986 under the direction of the late Elder David Mickens where he served faithfully for 24 years until God called him home in October 2009. On August 19, 2010 Pastor Holly was ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ and appointed pastor of Massie Memorial Church of God in Christ. Pastor Holly is married to Mignon (Wallace) Holly and they are blessed with 3 children, Ronnie Lee Holly Jr, Ronita Holly Winston and her husband Ernest Winston, and Jay T. Holly and 2 grandsons- Jahree D Holly-Winston & Kaiden D. Holly-Winston. Pastor Holly is an anointed singer, a praying man and preacher of God’s word. He loves the Lord with all his heart and believes that praise and worship sets the atmosphere for service. He believes we must all have our own personal relationship with God and that God always rewards faithfulness. He loves the youth and his desire is to see them go forward in the name of the Lord.  He prays that God will reach the backslider, drug addicts, alcoholics and all that the world pushes to the side.
